The Officina Musicale is the Ensemble in Residence of the medieval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, which is located on the ancient lands of Baron di Carapelle. Other important villages located in Abruzzo Aquilano which are equally interesting for their preservation of architectural and original urban history are: Castelvecchio Calvisio, Rocca Calascio and Carapelle Calvisio.
The residence will give the opportunity to L’Officina Musicale (by means of recitals open to the public, concerts, recording of CD’s, courses in musical improvement, seminars etc.) to promote cultural events so that the public may also become enriched by the glamour and architectural integrity of Santo Stefano.
